Biography
Zooey Claire Deschanel was born on January 17, 1980 to a famous family. Her father Caleb Deschanel is a cinematographer while her mother Mary Jo Deschanel is an actress. Z.Deschanel was bound to be under the spotlight alongside her sister, Emily Deschanel. Growing up, she was surrounded by her parents' work and often traveled with her father while he worked on films.
Z.Deschanel's first debut was on a show called, "Veronica's Closet" where she starred as a model. She was later known from her films, "Almost Famous" and "All Real Girls."
She is a critically acclaimed singer/performer where she was spotted singing in her movies, "The New Guy," "Elf," "Once Upon a Mattress," and her most recent were, "Yes Man" and karaoke-singing in "(500) Days of Summer." Z.Deschanel has a band in which she calls, "She & Him," along with her friend M.Ward.
